SING! is the first CD from The Boston Children's Chorus. This CD highlights the first three years of the BCC, with voices from our Concert, Lyric, Treble and Neighborhood Choirs, including our first-ever commissioned piece, Trilogy of Dreams by Rollo A. Dilworth. SING! takes the listener on a musical journey with songs in Latin and Hebrew, a Japanese lullaby, African-American spirituals, gospel songs and American anthems. The CD was recorded, mixed, and mastered by WGBH Radio Boston. The Boston Children's Chorus is a multi-racial multi-ethnic arts education organization that unites Boston area children across differences of race, religion and economic status to discover the power of singing and to serve as ambassadors for their city through local performances at city-wide events as well as on tour nationally and internationally. The Chorus's mission is to maximize the power of music to create social change.
